Techniques most used in adults
The techniques used to treat physical and emotional pain in adults are very diverse. The main and most used technique is acupuncture.
The main objective of acupuncture and the rest of the Chinese Medicine techniques is to restore the balance that characterizes health states, and thus achieve a feeling of well-being again.
It is a technique in which very small, sanitized and sterilized needles are introduced and manipulated in different specific points of the body, which stimulate biochemical reactions and physiological processes that have a healthy effect on the patient.
Electroacupuncture
Acupuncture can also be applied with mild electrical currents (electroacupuncture) to increase its effectiveness in the tracts (points on the body) that require it. This helps increase the effect and effectiveness of acupuncture.
Auriculotherapy
Auriculotherapy can also be used, which consists of stimulating different specific points in the ear, similar to how acupuncture does throughout the body. Auriculotherapy can be performed with needles or seeds.
Moxibustion
Moxibustion is applied to acupuncture points through the source of heat and smoke from certain plant products.
Suction cups
Cupping is applied to acupuncture points through suction mechanism.
They are capsules that suck the skin with the aim of stimulating blood flow and oxygenation of the area.

Techniques most used in childhood
Pediatric acupuncture, which we perform from 5 years of age, is a natural and safe alternative to help improve the health and well-being of our boys and girls. Through the use of small, painless needles, applied to specific points, different parts of the body are stimulated, seeking their balance to solve different children’s health problems.
The most recurrent problems are insomnia, abdominal ailments and enuresis or childhood incontinence.
Digitopuncture
Acupressure replaces needles with pressure points using fingers.
It is a less invasive technique that may be more effective in some cases for younger patients.
Shonishin
It follows the same logic as acupuncture but, instead of using needles, different areas of the body are stimulated with specially designed aid targets, and are used by linear rubbing, pressing or tapping in order to cause light stimulation. It is a completely painless central nervous system regulatory technique with no side effects.
